The skew Estrada index is a skew-spectrum-based invariant of oriented graphs. By using thealgebraic and elementary analysis method, lower and upper bounds for the skew Estrada index of oriented graphs are obtained.The bounds for the skew Estrada index for two specific graphs are discussed.
